As you have noticed, all of the topics have been locked but are archived so you are still able to read them.

It looks as though the boards are going to remain open. They are currently being worked on and they'll hopefully be re-opened eventually. Just keep checking back. Once they've been updated the forums will be unlocked.

Just to clarify the situation:

We have been notified that these boards will remain accessible in archive form only. That is they will be open for browsing but not for posting messages.
